Having found some additional evidence of the use of the Shepard spelling of this name, particulaly an entry in Boyds MI for 1715, I have changed all the records of Shepherd to Shepard in my family history.

Rickwoods Updated, again

James Rickwood’s family journal has been updated again.

Thanks to Gerald Rickwood, I’ve now added Thomas Frederick (Fred) and Walter Rickwood, the boys in the West Stow School photo, to the familytree. Some of Fred’s family remain in the area.

Also, added the family of Matilda Rickwood, b. 1803 in Ampton who married Henry Milliner. The family moved to Wales.

The census file has been updated too.
